Regarding the controversy on the use of unsustainable palm oil, we wish to assure our valuable customers that we are aware of the controversy. It is one of our corporate values to do the right thing. Our products are basically butter baked and not oil fried. The use of vegetable oil is incidental and accounts for less than 0.6% of our ingredients. We also wish to assure our customers that our vegetable oils currently used are from sustainable sources.
We use high quality New Zealand butter for our rolls, cakes and pastries.

We are one of, if not the first, confectioners to offer less sugar in cakes, cutting sugar levels to as much as 70% without compromising on flavour.
