Where is the best place to store your supplements?
Supplements should be stored in a cool and dry place below 25C. The temperatures in Singapore these days can sizzle up to 34C so this becomes a problem for storing nutritional supplements at home. The enemy of your supplements is not only heat but humidity. It is also advisable to keep your supplements out of reach of children.
Some parts of the home are especially HOT like near windows, walls that get the afternoon sun, near the cooking stove and the car. Your oils and softgels like Omega 3, CoQ10, MCT, etc can potentially melt. Probiotics will lose potency when exposed to prolonged heat.
Some parts of the home are especially HUMID like in the bathrooms and where you cook or prepare food. The fridge may be cool but it can produce excessive condensation when members of the family continually open the fridge door. This is not ideal for supplements that are powders and cellulose capsules.

We breath in air to acquire OXYGEN. Oxygen is absorbed into our blood stream giving life to all our cells. What if we keep eating NON-FOODS daily like preservatives, trans-fats, denatured foods, plastics and additives that leak into our blood stream?
Consuming non-foods will lead to a high TOXIC LOAD that damage our body. These toxic chemicals will also damage the oxygen in our body. Oxygen molecules come in electron pairs ...O2. Damaged oxygen that lose electrons and become unpaired are called FREE RADICALS.
These free radicals will do damage to our body's cells and this is called OXIDATION. Doing damage to oxygen results in a low oxygen environment in our body and increased carbon dioxide acidity.
When these non-foods are deep fried, microwaved and heated by cooking ... there will be more oxidation ...more damaged cells and lower oxygen. Now we have a low oxygen environment, lots of damaged cells, higher acidity and high toxic load in our body. That is a recipe for cancers to start.

I eat my fair share of white rice but I do a few things. First is not to add any sauce like soya sauce or gravy to avoid the toxic preservatives. Second is to take a supplement with my meal to put back the specific nutrients that were removed when the rice was polished. Finally I take another supplement weekly containing iodine & selenium because all grains like rice, wheat, etc polished or unpolished have been irradiated by X-rays to repel pest.
Diabetes is a combination of excessive insulin when carbs are refined and inflammation by toxicity from preservatives and radiation. Diabetes can be reversed!
Soft drinks have it worst. First is the wrong kind of sugar called fructose and second is the preservative sodium benzoate. A killer combination for excessive insulin and chronic inflammation.
Why Alkaline Water will mess you up
Lots of folks are spending thousands of dollars buying artificial alkaline water systems for their homes. Is artificial alkaline water good or bad for you?
Let's check the real science. We have 2 states of Ph in our body - one for our institial blood plasma and another for our digestive tract.
1). Blood Plasma is quite constant around 7.38. Food and water plays NO part in regulating Ph in blood plasma. It is Respiration! ...our Breathing that determines if we become too Acidic or too Alkaline. Shallow breathing can cause the build up of CO2 to create acidiosis and if the body is stressed it can over regulates leading to over alkalosis. Deep breathing increases O2 levels in the blood to make more alkaline. It is important to stay calm and useful do daily deep breathing exercises like in Tai Chi, Yoga, Swimming, Jogging etc. Respiration regulates plasma Ph. The air is free.
2). Our digestive tract alternates between alkaline in the mouth, highly acidic in the stomach, slightly alkaline in the small intestines and slightly acidic for the large intestines/colon. The alternate Ph of the digestive tract is necessary for various types of flora to thrive in each part of the tract. Using alkaline water system created artificially by electrolysis can be harmful in the long term and over alkalise the alternate Ph killing off flora. The stomach needs sufficient acid to chop down food which are long chain carbons into short. So it actually helps to consume something acidic like vinegar or lime juice during your meal.
Your body already has a PH Buffer System to regulate PH. If you interfere with too much artificially created alkaline water then you will exhaust your PH Buffer System and start to suffer chronic fatigue. I see this lots of time in my patients who have bought these unnecessary and expensive water systems. There are other harmful effects of drinking artificial alkaline water made by electrolysis and that is the build up of toxic ozone when the H2O separates from the unstable -H ions during the Corona Discharge. What you eat has everything to do with your health. Food must supply you with enough nutrients to make energy, enzymes, hormones and regenerate cells. A young man diagnosed with stomach cancer came to see me. Despite having removed half his stomach and battling for three years, the cancer has unfortunately spread to the other organs. I asked him if he has heard of the bacteria called Helicobactor pylori and if he ate preserved foods. He answered that he has not heard of the H. pylori bacteria and his wife remarked that he loves preserved foods.
Unhygienic preparation of foods especially preserved vegetables, preserved fruits and preserved salted meats is a common source for H. pylori infection. Asians like Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese have an average incidence of 75% for H. Pylori infection leading to higher incidence of stomach ulcers, stomach and bladder cancers.
